The sky still holds the last light, but there’s something heavy in the air – the silence before the storm that cuts straight to the bone. The water lies still, almost unreal, as if unaware of what’s coming. This painting is not just a landscape – it’s a moment of held breath, when you don’t know whether to run or stay. And maybe that’s its power – it reminds us what it means to be truly alive.
