Oil on canvas.
150cm x 100cm x 3.5cm

This piece, is named after Erebus, God of Darkness.
A mysterious moonlit night sky, where dreams and imagination flow freely.
My paintings are often inspired by my love and fascination with ever-changing skies and cloud formation. I try to capture the movement and mood of the skies and sea - Calm and dreamy, to dramatic and surreal.
The layers and textures are formed by layering and lifting the oil paint, playing on the fluidity of the medium.
