Original artwork description
Burnt orange, golden ochre, lichen green and sky blue are blocked in areas of translucent colour suggestive of roofline, sky and walls. These shapes are set against areas of distressed texture representing the weathered half timbers of a bygone age. The buildings in this abstract landscape painting can be viewed today while standing in Old Amersham Memorial Gardens looking to the left along the Broadway.
Mixed media on board in lime wood tray frame hand finished (by me) with beeswax.
