Some paintings begin with certainty. This one began with a series of still mornings and a feeling I couldn't quite name — something shifting, unhurried, inevitable.
I reached for the grey first. Then the loop: one continuous line, slightly imperfect, very deliberate. Finally the fuchsia — loaded brush, single committed gesture, done. That sequence was the meaning.
What makes it special isn't scale (20 × 20 cm, pocket-sized) ; it's the conversation between restraint and nerve. A vast calm field. One audacious pink heartbeat sitting at its edge, not centred, not apologetic.
