Emerald Shorelines — Diptych Green Grey (2026)Acrylic painting by Tatiana Malinovscaia

In “Emerald Shorelines” I wanted to capture the moment where land, water and sky dissolve into each other.

Instead of painting a literal landscape, I built the composition through expressive palette-knife gestures, layered acrylic textures and atmospheric color transitions.

Deep emerald green emerges against soft greys, charcoal tones and ivory whites. Areas of thick textured paint contrast with smooth passages, creating depth and movement across both canvases. Together the two paintings form one continuous visual dialogue, where dark structures and light reflections flow from one canvas into the other.

I created this piece using multiple layers of acrylic paint, working with palette knife and textured brush techniques to build an organic surface that reveals new details up close.
