In this contemporary abstract painting, I explored the movement of light across an open space where sky, land and water dissolve into each other. I worked in layered acrylic on natural linen, allowing texture and raw surface to become part of the composition.

The color palette is refined and atmospheric: sage green, deep emerald, muted olive, cool grey, soft ivory and subtle ochre accents. The darker lower section contrasts with luminous pale upper tones, creating depth and spatial openness. Fine vertical drips and textured palette knife strokes add structure and energy to the surface.

I built this textured abstract landscape painting through multiple layers — applying, scraping, blending and revealing previous tones beneath. The linen texture softly interacts with the acrylic, enhancing the organic character of the work.
