Embroidery, Series: Conversations of Objects (2022)Oil painting by Tetiana Pchelnykova

50 x 50 x 2cm (unframed)

£515.25

"Embroidery" is a tribute to the silent strength and wisdom of the women who came before me. In Ukraine, the process of creating a national ornament was a true ritual. They worked only on certain days, with bright thoughts and a pure heart, putting all their love and positive energy into every stitch.
In my series "Conversations of Objects," I want to show that these embroidered patterns are not just designs—they are a coded language of love and protection. I painted this work to capture that feeling of a "unique destiny" being woven by hand. The warm oil textures and traditional colors will bring a sense of peace, deep cultural connection, and spiritual warmth to your home. It’s a piece about identity, family roots, and the beauty of a life created with intention.

oil paints, stretched canvas
