Zakhar Shevchuk’s Emanation (2024) is a 53 cm high sculpture crafted from gypsum, acrylic and enamel, turning the language of abstract painting into three-dimensional space. The piece rises from a square base and erupts into a vibrant mass of turquoise, yellow, pink and gold, as if colour itself had taken physical form.
Shevchuk explains the work as “imagine an abstract painting pushed into the form of a sculpture.” This concept invites viewers to walk around it, discovering how colour, shape and texture unfold like topography.
