A relatively rare figurative painting that was conceived and painted under quite difficult circumstances. Elen is a Goddess of pathways and forests and is usually depicted with antlers, a Welsh goddess that can even be considered a representative of Britain itself in some interpretations. My favourite model Naomi who posed for this and a sister painting called "Faeral" provided the antlers...
