While painting this piece, I wanted to capture the dreamy and romantic atmosphere of Paris at night. With the Eiffel Tower glowing in gold, I imagined a celebration that has just ended, leaving behind glasses, plates, and flowers like traces of a story. Through these details, I hoped the viewer could feel the warmth of the evening, the gentle breeze, and the quiet emotions that drift through the city.
I used vivid color blocks and strong contrasts to depict the light sources within the night scene. The red floral arrangement and reflections in the glasses were painted with swift, energetic strokes to preserve a sense of rhythm and liveliness. The background sky was laid with smooth layers and subtle dry brushing to make the Eiffel Tower’s glow stand out, creating a striking visual focus.
