My new series of works has been inspired by the culture of ancient Egypt. Since this is an abstract painting ( no realistic images) I tried to create spirit of those times by used a lot of Gold colors.
Rich palette of the golden age, a combination with copper, emerald tones and deep blues - was my companion in this journey to ancient Egypt.
Blue means water and new life.
Gold is one of the favorite colors of the Egyptians, means eternity and social essence.
Green color - rebirth and youth.
For every painting I selected some of Egypt frescoes ( those I could find in web), and after I tried recreate very similar pattern on my abstract field.
To give you some idea which frescoes I used as a simple for painting - I make special image with my painting and frescoes side by side.

Hand stretched and gallery wrapped over a 4cm deep
