Another of my London in the rain paintings, this time of an American style diner on Old Compton Street in the vibrant Soho area of central London. The painting is based around a red orange/blue green complementary colour scheme. I have been meaning to paint this for a long time as I have walked past it many times in all weathers and times of the day but decided to paint it on a rainy winter evening.
Materials used:
oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
