The title says it all really. This is a view in Autumn. Sir Walter Scott was a writer, poet and historian. I have tried to set his monument in its context as it commands Princes Street in Edinburgh, in a slightly misty light. In the foreground is a train leaving Edinburgh's Waverley Station.
This was a commissioned painting and is now available as a print.
