Edinburgh's Southside. It is dusk and the shadows deepen, turning the orange and pink bricks darker and eerie. The area teems with life. The university is near. I enjoy the sights and smells, alone and unanchored. A time to wander. Urban mystery. The work is rich in colour and detail, full of atmosphere. The canvas is 0.4 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished. A perfect Edinburgh-themed souvenir.
