A lovely plant shop in Edinburgh. The light is strong, the walls golden. The shop calls to me, its scent, its promise of beauty and peace, a heady aroma, perfumed, Eden made real. I want to linger. I love this part of the city, Bohemia of the North perhaps, especially when it basks in a rare burst of Caledonian sunshine. This lovely work is full of realism and detail, of shadow and reflection. It makes an ideal gift, the perfect souvenir of Edinburgh.
Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished
