A famous Edinburgh landmark and watering hole. This is a corner of Edinburgh's Morningside, a lovely neighbourhood, genteel and cosy. Inside is warmth, whisky and beer, walls that hum a thousand echoes. The work is rich in realism, and captures the play of light on the walls, under a cool Scottish sky. The canvas is 0.4 inches deep and can therefore hang without the need for framing if wished.
