Echoes of Summer Sun IV
Some moments of summer seem to disappear with the last ray of sunlight, yet their warmth remains within us.
Echoes of Summer Sun IV is an original oil painting inspired by the fleeting beauty of summer flowers and the delicate atmosphere of a sun-filled day. Golden blossoms rise through a soft lavender and violet space, surrounded by touches of turquoise, pale blue and warm white. The flowers seem almost weightless, as if carried by light and air.
For me, this painting is about the fragile beauty of existence and the preciousness of moments that cannot be repeated. Nature constantly changes, flowers bloom and fade, and sunlight moves across the world — but these fleeting experiences can remain as quiet echoes in our memory.
The work is connected to my artistic concept of the New Moon — a metaphor for renewal, transformation and the beginning of a new cycle. The New Moon represents a moment of transition: when one cycle quietly ends and another begins to emerge. In my paintings, light and colour become a way of expressing this subtle transformation and the feeling of a new world gradually coming into being.
Created with professional oil paints on canvas, the painting combines expressive brushwork, delicate layered textures and luminous colour transitions. Golden yellow and orange blossoms contrast with lavender, violet, turquoise and soft blue, creating a contemporary semi-abstract floral composition. Rather than depicting flowers literally, I allow them to dissolve into colour, movement and atmosphere.
Echoes of Summer Sun IV is the fourth and final work in the Echoes of Summer Sun series of four original paintings. Each artwork can be purchased separately, while the complete four-piece series is available at a more advantageous combined price.
