Echoes of Summer Sun III–IV | Original Floral Diptych
Some memories of summer remain not as images, but as light, colour and a feeling of warmth.
Echoes of Summer Sun III–IV is an original two-piece oil painting diptych inspired by the fleeting beauty of summer light. Golden and yellow flowers seem to dissolve into lavender, violet, turquoise and soft blue, creating a delicate atmosphere where flowers, air and sunlight become almost inseparable.
For me, these works are about the fragile nature of beautiful moments. Summer passes, flowers fade, light changes — yet something remains within us as a quiet emotional echo. This is where my exploration of the fragility of existence, beauty and the subtle vibration of nature begins.
The paintings are also connected with my idea of the New Moon — a metaphor for renewal, transformation and the beginning of a new cycle. The New Moon represents the moment when the old has quietly disappeared and something new is only beginning to emerge. Through colour, light and movement, I try to capture this delicate transition and the feeling of a new world being born.
Created with professional oil paints on canvas, the diptych combines expressive brushwork, layered textures and luminous colour transitions. Golden yellow and warm white flowers contrast with cool lavender and violet spaces, while touches of turquoise add freshness and movement. The recognizable floral forms gradually dissolve into an almost abstract language, allowing the viewer to experience the work through colour and emotion rather than a literal image.
Displayed together, the two paintings create a continuous visual dialogue. One composition seems to flow naturally into the other, creating the sensation of an extended summer landscape seen through memory.
Echoes of Summer Sun III–IV is part of a series of four original oil paintings. These two works are offered together as a diptych, but each painting can also be purchased individually. The complete four-piece series is available as a collection at a more advantageous price.
Up to three paintings can be shipped together for the same shipping cost, making it convenient to collect several works from the series.
This contemporary floral diptych is well suited to modern, minimalist, Scandinavian, Japandi and contemporary interiors. Its luminous palette, airy composition and expressive texture can bring warmth and a sophisticated sense of colour to a living room, bedroom, studio, boutique hotel or creative space.
