I was drawn to the simplicity of the plant with its beautiful structure and the gracefulness of the hanging flower. It makes a suitable pairing with the Cactus screen print. I enjoyed capturing the tonal range on each of the succulent's leaves.
An original hand-pulled screen print. One colour is printed at a time by hand using a squeegee which pushes ink through the screen onto the paper. For each new colour the artist makes a separate drawing/stencil and different coloured layers are built up to create a design.
