This, at first glance, simple picture, which seems to compare two different worlds, leads to deep reflections on human life: 1. about freedom and slavery, spiritual death, the triumph of the material and spirituality, piety, questions are raised about childbirth, the position of women in the world, about interethnic, religious and racial differences. The figure in the middle seems to be still empty and in thought which side to join - because both of them are doubtful, and in both cases you will have to sacrifice something important to be accepted. The figure is also one of two classic archetypes for a woman - a saint, a martyr, the Mother of God, or a harlot, barren, priestess of the golden calf. Moreover, both sides may well be not what they seem. Both sides are not free and hidden - the woman of Western civilization is secular, material, her Christian gold cross is just a stylish decoration, which is what religion has come to seem like in the so-called developed countries. She is in expensive sunglasses that hide her feelings - emptiness and satiety or a fester soul, corrupted long ago? Women of the East - seem to be an oppressed class, ideological crowds of containers for the production of children, future people who will replace fallen civilizations ... Their beautiful eyes express passion, envy, suffering, desire and fear of permissiveness, liberation, and, along with this, a stubborn conviction that their torments will be rewarded later, and that they are better, because they are chosen by God and are busy with a worthy cause - growing a new people that will inherit the earth.
