I used many different contrasting colours and painted Earth-Water 1 with dots of acrylic paints, in an Impressionist/Pointillist style. Here, my goal was to make colours sing, while dreaming of the ebb and flow of sea over land. Please take the time to see the additional images in full screen mode. Here you will be able to appreciate the colours and textures worked in three layers. I built the composition in layers to achieve the depth and quality of finish that I admire and desire. I hope it brings pleasure and calmness. An outer frame is not needed because the edges are painted as part of the artwork.
