Earth (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Laura Rota

60 x 60 x 3cm (unframed) / 60 x 60cm (actual image size)

£1,116.9

‘Earth’ is the third painting in the Earth’s Heart series. It was conceived as a view of the planet from afar — from above, from space.
Rather than being described, the Earth is perceived as a living organism made of water, forests, and rock.

The globe appears suspended and silent. Circles intertwine to form patterns that suggest seas and vast expanses of vegetation.

At the centre, colours blend together to create undefined territories — coasts, rocks, and borders in a state of flux.

With Earth, the Earth’s Heart series continues as a gesture of attention toward the planet that hosts us — a living presence in time and space.

Materials used:

Acrylic painting on cotton canvas, stretched on a wooden frame
