Original artwork description:

This is actually an oil painting I did a while back- Its been in storage.
I took it out recently and reinvigorated it with some acrylic and glaze.
At the time when I originally painted it I was using heavy texture in my paintings and this can be seen here on the shore and on the surf.
Its a view looking across Uig Bay towards Earlish Point on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
As with most of my work have tied to capture the atmosphere of the area more than an exact pictorial representation
The painting is painted on 40mm thick box canvas and it is framed in a floating frame ready to hang.
