A soft interpretation of the Eagle Nebula. The Eagle Nebula is a cloud of interstellar gas and light. This by itself is mind-blowing before you even see the photos captured by the Hubble Telescope. The work is not meant to be photo-realistic but rather a dream-lens of the nebula, which is 7000 light years from earth. The galaxy we live in simply astounding and this work is meant to direct the thoughts of the viewer outward when gazing through it. Art has that essential function - like literature - to help us look outward and to contemplate the wonder of our existence is the ultimate drama of space.
