Dunure Castle dates back to the 15/16th century and although now in ruins it is a well known landmark in South Ayrshire. Here it is depicted against a sunset sky which is painted in hues of pink and purple. The composition is continued on the edges to allow hanging without framing if required. However, one of the secondary images shows the frame which is included free of charge
