The view is through the dunes landscape just inside from the beach with bunny tails, pines and grasses. Painted in Gouache I managed to create a colourful depiction of a complex setting. The broken fencing and neutral sky, the sillouette of the ferns and bright foliage coming together in a beautiful pictorial impressionistic ensemble. I reall like painting en-plein-air as it is then possible to create a freshness copy from a photograph doesn't allow. This painting is shown uncropped.
