Original artwork description:

In a world where traditional art often admires serene landscapes and classic hunting scenes depicted in antique tapestries, a modern interpretation can offer a delightful surprise.

This painting combines a realistic depiction of a black Labrador retriever, ducks, and an 8-bit pixelated character from a classic video game.
The realistic portion of the painting depicts a Labrador in the reeds at sunset.
The pixelated character is a dog from the 1984 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game Duck Hunt.

The painting is an example of pop art, combining traditional hunting art with elements of nostalgic video games. The interplay of classical beauty and playful pop culture creates a humorous contrast that challenges accepted artistic norms.

I present a series of paintings "A Fairy tale in my Life" in which reality collides with a fairy tale come to life. In my works, I strive to create a unique space where classical art is intertwined with vivid cartoon characters, fairy tales and fantasy films. These characters seem to break into the daily flow of events, bringing with them irony and a bit of chaos, turning the familiar world upside down.

Since childhood, I dreamed that dolls would be alive, so that they could talk and move. One of my favorite movies, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, was a real revelation to me. In this film, cartoon characters live with people, and this idea has always fascinated me. I often fantasized about what would happen if my favorite characters lived next to us, interacted with our reality, disrupting the usual order of things.

In the process of creating this series of paintings, I realized that even though I had grown up, cartoons and fairy-tale worlds still occupy an important place in my life. They remind me of how important it is to keep a childlike sincerity and the ability to be surprised. Each work is an attempt to capture this amazing moment when two worlds meet: the real and the fabulous, where boundaries blur and the mundane becomes magical.

I hope that my paintings can inspire viewers to think about how a miracle can exist next to us, if only we are ready to see it.
