Each work in my graphic and painting practice begins with a grid — the structural foundation from which the idea emerges. Like the other pieces in the “Duality” series, Graphics 23 is built on a grid derived from the geometric progression of the number 2, symbolizing the balance of opposing forces.

“Loud Silence” explores a deeply human tension: the strong inner desire to speak, express, and release emotion, contrasted with the quiet discipline of restraint. These two states — insistent emotional urgency and elegant self-control — meet in a single figure, forming a nuanced portrait of a balanced personality.

This duality is not a contradiction but a defining part of human nature, a place where intensity and softness coexist within one inner rhythm.
