It is a light textured original acrylic painting on canvas, ‘Drunk with love’ (60 x 80 cm). This painting weaves together human intimacy and organic abundance in a surreal and geometric composition. At the centre, a cluster of stylised figures lean into one another, their elongated forms and angular limbs suggesting both fragility and resilience. Their closed eyes convey a sense of collective introspection, as if caught in a shared dream or ritual of unity. Surrounding them, cascading clusters of grapes - rendered in jewel - like purples, blues and pinks - evoke themes of fertility, harvest and communication.
With this painting I invite viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of humanity, nourishment and the cycles of life. The repetition of shapes and the harmonious palette create a rhythm that feels almost musical, pulling the observer into a meditative state.
