In creating Drifting Landscape, I wanted to move away from the certainty of defined horizons and instead allow the painting to breathe in ambiguity. The layers of muted tones and softened edges became a way to suggest form without confining it—like a memory of a place that refuses to remain still. For me, this work is less about depicting a landscape and more about capturing its fleeting essence, the way it drifts quietly in the mind long after it is seen. It is about serenity found in transience, where impressions linger in silence and air holds the weight of calm.
