Dreams Grow Wild (2019) Original Oil Painting by Trisha Lambi

Old world charm and romance abound in this piece which was inspired by the roses from my garden. Roses hold a special significance for me because they were one of my mother’s favourite flowers. Mum was a great gardener, and after she passed away, we took cuttings from her garden. From the 100 or so rose cuttings I had, eight took, which is how many children she had! I cherish those roses now and they now feature in many of my paintings.
