Original artwork description
The Great Barrier Reef in Australia, where I lived for a while, inspired me to create this painting. I was deeply moved by the splendour of the colours, the awe-inspiring vividness and the magnificent diversity.
"Down Under 1" is an attractive medium sized, very lively acrylic painting. It´s main color is blue and turquoise in all different shades. It shows the underwater world of the Australian Barrier Reef where I lived for a couple of years.
This artwork is a declaration of nature´s beauty. It is painted with high quality acrylic colors in different layers. It has a spontaneous informal attitude und brings a lively, happy note to your rooms.
The painting is signed on the side, title and year is written on the back. The sides are also painted in dark turquoise.
