Original artwork description
This painting was inspired after a walk up Dove Crag near Brotherswater in the The Lake District. This view was part way up as we stopped to look back onto Hartsop and down Dovedale Beck. I was quite taken with the lone tree clinging to the side of fell.
This painting is on box canvas, and continues around the sides so it's ready to hang on the wall. 2 coats of satin varnish are added for protection.
