Artwork description
A reduction linocut, which is a multi-colour linocut produced from just one block. This print is unique, as it was made in a different colour scheme from the edition. It was inspired by a train trip that I took across the bottom of the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. It's called the 'Cockle Train' and it takes passengers along the cliffs above golden beaches that are never crowded. This dog's owner was somewhere in the vicinity, but he looked as though he had the beach to himself.
Materials used:
Oil based Relief inks, chine collé archival Hosho paper on substrate of Dutch etching paper
Details:
- Linocut on Paper
- From a limited edition of 1
- Size: 25 x 30 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 20 x 25.5cm (actual image size)
- Signed and numbered on the front
- Style: Photorealistic
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
