Dock Flowers and Grasses 2 (2025) Linocut by Melissa Birch

Inspired by the russet colour of dried dock flowers and the pale blonde grasses at the end of summer. These two forms commonly interweave in the meadows and riverbanks. Layering two separate lino blocks achieves this natural effect.

Carved in two blocks and printed on Japanese washi paper in an edition of 5. The print is signed by the artist and numbered below the image.
