Original artwork description

In this piece I used curving dot-to-dot lines to create circular shapes in the same colour palette as the big sun, creating a whirling composition only broken by the flock of swallows flying towards the sun.
Like in Buddhist mandalas and in native American geometric designs, I used the circle form to represent the energy of the cosmos. The interlocking spiral motif is also found in the Celtic Art, which always has been an inspiration to me
