This painting unfolds like a threshold between inner and outer worlds. Soft, atmospheric layers of pale gray and muted blue hover above a dense, shadowed ground, creating a sense of suspended time. A single block of ochre emerges from the darkness—an unexpected, resolute presence that reads as both signal and shelter.

Delicate linear drips and erased gestures move vertically through the composition, suggesting breath, descent, and return. The surface bears evidence of revision and restraint: marks are softened, scraped back, and allowed to fade, mirroring the way memory shifts and re-forms over time. Nothing is forced forward; meaning arrives slowly, through proximity and attention.

My practice is rooted in intuition, process, and emotional honesty. I work through abstraction as a language for the unseen — gestures of thought, breath, and recollection translated through paint. Each piece begins with an impulse rather than a plan, allowing the work to unfold as memory itself does: layered, imperfect, and human.
