This landscape was painted on the banks of the Dnieper River. I was standing with a easel on a high bank, near the village of Vitachev. On this day, the air was clear, the visibility was high and the colors were saturated. The Dnieper in these places is especially wide and full-flowing. The result is a landscape filled with freshness and the impression of a spring day.
