There are times when we need to draw inspiration, reevaluate our further functioning or time for ourselves and our family. There will be situations when we feel burnt out, we lack balance or we are just looking for a new meaning in love, work, personal life.
We feel that we need personal time off and to gain insight into the stereotype that no longer brings us the pleasure that it used to.
Our daily duties are so urgent that we have very little time for ourselves, to think about what to do next.
That's when Sabbatical comes in handy. The meaning of this word is derived from Hebrew, where it meant a day of rest.
I have depicted the theme of Sabbatical in several paintings. This is one of them and it tries to direct us to nature, to the flora and fauna with which we have been genetically connected since the beginning of human development. It invites us to rest in nature, which will clear our heads and recharge us with positive energy.
Nature is our DNA and has a huge healing power and we should take every opportunity to spend our free time in it as much as possible.
