The blue and teal colours I experienced while exploring the ocean at Walkerville were a major inspiration for this large scale piece. The day I went there it was truly magic and I had the most wonderful time walking through the water, exploring the rocks and coastline.
I have used supreme quality linen and this gives the painting a relaxed softness complimenting the highly textured wave expressed in an abstract form.
