“Distant Light” — acrylic painting on canvas, 120×70 cm (rolled, unframed).
This piece was born from observing the delicate boundary between light and earth, where the sky seems to dissolve into air, and the soft glow of a distant sun breaks gently through the clouds.
I used a refined palette of greys, creams, and beige-brown tones with a touch of pale yellow to convey a sense of warmth, hope, and quiet introspection.
The texture, created with a palette knife and layered acrylic strokes, gives the surface a living, tactile quality — light glides across the relief, creating depth and subtle movement.
For me, this painting is about the moment of waiting — when the light ahead may seem distant, but it continues to guide us forward.
