This artwork captures the beauty of one of my favourite ancient bluebell woodland spots which I love to visit and spend time observing spring’s arrival. Bluebell woods are a sight to behold in the spring.
It really is one of nature’s spectacles not to be missed.

Nobody goes there. It’s tucked away. I might meet the odd deer, if I stay quiet, making its way majestically across the blue carpet and through the trees.

But normally it’s just the spring breeze blowing through the trees, the birds with their spring calls and the gentle hum of pollinating insects for company.
Bluebells in the language of flowers are a symbol of everlasting love, gratitude and humility….and of course being magical are also known as ‘fairy flowers’.
Hopefully my painting reminds you of your favourite bluebell walk and brings back pleasant emotions so that you too can connect with nature.
It's so important to take time to appreciate the beauty of the world around us, and I'm sure that your visits to this woodland will bring you much joy.
