This diptych is part of my ongoing exploration of movement, texture, and the quiet power of natural forms. Each canvas (140×100 cm, shipped rolled in a tube) was created with layered acrylics and delicate palette-knife gestures that carve soft, sculptural lines across the surface.

The flowing shapes remind me of sand shaped by wind, clay smoothed by water, and mineral veins revealed in stone. I worked with a calming palette of warm beige, taupe, ivory, clay brown, soft grey, and touches of metallic-like highlights to create depth without overwhelming the composition. The vertical lines of texture gently shift from light to shadow, giving the diptych a sense of graceful motion—as if two landscapes are slowly unfolding.

When placed together, the two canvases form a subtle dialogue: curves that mirror each other, tonal transitions that connect, and textures that feel both organic and contemporary. It’s a statement piece designed to bring warmth, balance, and an elegant modern energy into any interior.

I poured into these works the same peaceful state I felt while painting them, and I hope they bring that same feeling into your home.

The artwork is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and ships in a tube. This method is particularly safe for oversized works and ensures lower transport costs. Rolled works may be easily stretched upon arrival (placed on wooden stretchers for canvases) and/or framed by a local framer.
