"Jasmine. A Brush with Nature's Soul." + "Golden Ratio"

"Jasmine" : In this etude, I aimed to capture that fleeting moment of communion, a touch between humanity and the vast, wild world of nature - a world of which each of us is an inseparable part.

"Golden Ratio" : I was inspired to create this watercolor artwork when I suddenly saw how the patches of shadow deep within the rose petals formed a golden ratio spiral.
Generally, I am very much inspired by the "mathematical" nature of the beauty that surrounds us, and the idea that beauty can be "calculated," yet also simply felt.
This etude features a Polka rose from the garden of the house where I currently live.
Paper size: 16.5 x 22.5 cm each artwork
Unframed

This painting is a single copy of my unique and original handiwork.
It will look best in a wide mat and a thin frame (as in the example).
