DIPTYCH n. 8

Captured during an extended journey through the ethereal landscapes of northern Scandinavia, Diptych No. 8 is a visual narrative composed of two carefully framed moments from the regions of Nordland and Troms og Finnmark.
These images reflect not only the serene beauty of Nordic coastal life but also the silent poetry that unfolds between nature and the maritime world.

A solitary boat docked in still, reflective waters, with jagged peaks in the distance and a sky cloaked in soft greys. The calmness is almost surreal — a mirror-like fjord scene that feels both intimate and vast.

A harbor under a dramatic sky, where a red and white fishing boat becomes the central figure amid the vibrant energy of a working coastal town. It’s a juxtaposition of nature and livelihood, where the atmosphere shifts from silence to rhythm.

Together, the two pieces speak to the contrast and harmony found in Norway’s far north — solitude and community, silence and industry, reflection and movement.

In this diptych, the two photographs each have a format of 60x60 cm, with an additional 5 cm white border on each side to allow for easy mounting on a frame and subsequent framing.
