Diptych L´Averse ( one panel) (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Kseniia Turik

60 x 150 x 3cm (unframed)

£1,566.63

I painted L'Averse during a Paris downpour — that sudden moment when rain falls so heavily the city seems to pause and listen. This is the lighter, more textured panel from the diptych: a continuous field of silver, pearl grey, and warm beige, traced by fine vertical streams of cobalt blue and pearlescent silver — the way rivulets of water find their path down a window.
The edges of the canvas are painted in blue, so the rain wraps around the sides of the work and stays present even when seen from an angle.
A small note for viewers — the pearl and silver tones in this painting are notoriously difficult to photograph. The pearlescent veins shift subtly with the light source, the angle, and the time of day. What reads as soft grey in an image often glows almost luminous in person. The work truly comes alive in natural daylight.
Single panel from a diptych. Acrylic on linen canvas, finished with a protective varnish. No resin. Signed on the back.

Acrylic ,varnish
