A MANO A MANO (Diptych)
This ethereal diptych is titled "A mano a mano" (Little by little), inspired by the classic Italian song by Rino Gaetano. It captures a moment of fleeting beauty and movement against the breathtaking backdrop of a sunset over the Gulf of Follonica during autumn.

These two shots were originally intended as simple light tests taken just before a professional session, yet they immediately struck me with their unique, spontaneous quality. I've always avoided including human figures in my landscape photography, which made the blurred, evocative presence of the two figures here exceptionally powerful and moving.

The decision to elevate these test shots to a gallery-ready diptych was cemented after an overwhelmingly positive public response.
Sharing one of the images on social media with Gaetano's song as the soundtrack sparked an unexpected wave of emotional engagement and private feedback.

The motion blur transforms the figures into silhouettes of emotion, while the soft, pastel tones of the sky—a beautiful blend of pink, orange, and pale blue—contrast with the cool, icy blue of the sea. It's a spontaneous capture that resonates with themes of journey, connection, and the gentle passage of time.

This piece stands as a unique departure in my portfolio and is offered as a heartfelt tribute to the serendipitous moments that often hold the most profound beauty.
