From my Galisteo series of modern cowgirls. My work has always been influenced by fashion and design. After relocating from New York City to the Southwest U.S. in 2020, I began this series, focusing on women of the West. Since the series was begun during Covid, most of the models, including this one, were drawn from my family of Instagram followers. My goal for the series and what I hope for viewers to take away is the spirit of these strong and independent women along with a sense of fun, fashion, and style.
