A painting of an old fashioned public telephone in France. I encountered this in the basement of a gallery in Paris .There was a row of of phones. I loved the colours, the blue/yellow contrast heightened both the intensity of the image and emotion of the potential call. I was interested in the filmic look of the scene. The shadows made the phones increase in size and prominence.
