When we look at an artist's work we must immerse ourselves in his vision, perceiving what he sees and what he feels.
Milena's romantic, rebellious and melancholic feeling can be perceived in all her series of works and identifies a unique and personal style even when she uses different techniques and materials.
She has the unique characteristic of going beyond the pictorial work of art, but of intertwining painting with the ready-made, with sculpture, with installation, with textile art, with engraving and more.
Her creativity does not impose gender constraints.
In this series of works "the debris" left by the passage of man speak to us. They are poetic stories. In some works these debris are rust grooves or accumulations of scrap, in others they are objects or strips of fabric and Milena dialogues with these, reconstructing a story.
She uses the dialoguing power of objects and the power of the fragment that opens the doors to the story, sometimes imaginative but with the feeling of presentiments and omens. Its fragments and debris are symbols of fears but also of rebellion and resilience.
